SDG 8: Decent work and economic growth
The sustainable development goals aim to encourage sustained economic growth and achieving higher levels of productivity. In this regard, Benha University encourages business management and job creation to increase economic growth.
This is done by:
- The University adopts a lot of researches and projects on economic and productive studies
- Egypt Industrial Initiative by training a group of technical education students on a programme to qualify for the job market
- Annual graduate meeting with students
- Assisting recent graduates to facilitate getting job opportunities.
- Graduate Follow-up Office at Benha University
- Establishment of new and distinctive programs for bachelor's and postgraduate students in university colleges that are concerned with business management, economic growth, self-resource management and projects
- University Innovation, Technology Transfer and Marketing Support Office
- Awareness of students, teaching staff and administrators of the importance of entrepreneurship
- Trade Union Committee of Workers of Benha University to discuss issues and files related to workers and preserve their rights
